“I went to Broadway Cellars with a friend and had a great time! The hostess was extremely friendly and accommodating, giving us a table in the corner, right by the window, perfect. The wine list is fairly priced. We had presecco (yum) and burgers...the perfect combo, yes? My burger was cooked exactly to my specifications which doesn't happen often, so I was pleased. Our waiter was nice and checked in on us at just the right times. Everything on the menu looked great, lots of options. They seem to have some great daily drink specials. I seriously cannot wait to get back here fast for a boozy brunch. $10 bottomless mimosas? Yes, please!”

“The northside of Chicago has been steadily making head way towards what could potentially be the best place to live, shop and dine. One restaurant that I have made home to is the Broadway Cellars. I can always find something new on the wine list and menu. Food here is affordable and high quality. Appetizers include american artisinal cheeses, pate, seafood sliders. The entrees range from american standards such as burgers and fries to their signiture duck lasagna. Specials can include skatewing, lamb chops, and the (OMG!) softshell crab po'boy. B.C. also hosts monthly wine dinners and wine tastings where you can hone your palet and meet new friends. I strongly support the Broadway Cellars in helping create fine tastes and good community on the northside.”

“Having just moved to Chicago a couple of months ago and needing a new spot for brunch, Broadway Cellars immediately jumped on my radar. We went on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. My eyes just about bugged out of my head when I saw the $10 bottomless Bloody Mary. If you want a foolproof plan to never, ever get rid of me, this is a damn fine start. And to boot, it was a really good Bloody Mary. For food, I had their corned beef hash which was very fresh and tasty. The over easy eggs were perfectly cooked. By the time our food arrived, I was on my third Bloody Mary (not that service was slow, just thirsty that morning) and don't quite recall what my girlfriend had. Although, I do recall her liking it quite a bit. Our waiter had ninja-like reflexes when it came to the refills, often replacing our drinks before we could even take the last drink of the one we had.

A friend and I also went there on Monday night for their $5 burger, $5 Fat Tire special which was equally good. For $5, there was A LOT of food on the plate and the Fat Tires were the big 22 ounce bottles which made me happy. Plus, you can get your burger with Gorgonzola. That is awesome.

Overall, my favorite restaurant in Edgewater for the short amount of time I've been here. Have another suggestion? Let me know. Would love to hear it because I have no idea what's going on around here.”

“Ten dollar bottomless mimosas.  I mean, really?!?
Ten dollar bottomless Bloody Marys.  Double really?!?
Fifteen dollar bottomless if you want a combination of both.  *Faint*

After being fanned awake by my brunch buddy (OK, not really) I decided on The Grump version of eggs benedict.    Two finely poached eggs, covered in hollandaise sauce with shrimp, over two crabcakes, along with a helping of their Broadway potatoes and a side of their succulent, sweet, tasty bacon.  Let the food induced coma begin.

The service was Grade A.  I never once needed to ask for a refill on my mimosa.  Our server was quick and stealth with the refills.   He even offered refills after our bill was paid.  Now that is the true meaning to the term "bottomless."
